Mauser Model 98 Help

I have a Model 98 8mm Mauser. Has been in the family forever. Don't know much about these older firearms, and am trying to determine a value as I'm looking at selling. It has various markings (DUO, eagles, etc), metal is in great shape. It was put onto a sporter stock about 40 years ago. Attached are a few pictures. Any thoughts or ideas about this rifle would be welcome. Thanks!!

Around 175-200. I picked one up and it was a dou44 all matching but in a new stock for 200.

Id say at least $300-$400 and if you put a stock on it, its better then RC and they are going for like $600 lately........

Nice in fact. She could be even better with this old stock i keep for a retrofit project.

I wish i found a rifle like this one day

Putting a stock and bands on this one makes it worth more then an RC, with their #### paint, and total mismatch, I'd take this and a mismatched stock over rc any day. At least this has some matched parts.

But sometimes we dont have enough money and time to look for parts and stocks to restore.
