22-250 question

If it's not going into a tubular magazine, there is no need to crimp your 22-250 loads.

As far as accuracy is concerned, benchrest shooters do all they can to achieve the best possible accuracy, and they don't crimp. If crimping helps your accuracy, you likely have another issue, like insufficient neck tension. In that situation, you need to correct the reason for insufficient neck tension.
 
I never crimp for bolt action rifles (I'm assuming this is what you have?), but if it seems to help with accuracy, it's not going to hurt anything and is not a sign of improper neck tension. All it means is that your rifle likes that load. Every rifle will respond differently to a particular load, so find the one that works for yours and have fun with it.
