Daniel Defense front/rear sight combo should be here this week, Eotech 552 waiting to be mounted, lots of ammo waiting to be fired; now just to wait for the ATT.

Big thanks to Ryan at SFRC for the great customer service, and a huge thanks to NEA for putting a great Canadian made AR on the market.

Range report to follow...

I see that ugly pinch of the rails again. I thought that was "fixed" as indicated by SFRC/NEA in another thread when I commented on that.

Wow, didn't take long for someone to crap on your parade......

I received mine the other day and like what I see. Going to head to the range tomorrow for a test drive, can't wait!

Looks nice in the pictures. A lot of guys are posting ####ty cell phone pics and they don't flattering at all.

NEA has its own picture thread in their dealer forum section of the site. You should re-post them there as well. It's a "NEA Love In" if you will...;)

Hard to tell from just a picture but they look very nice to me! I don't really know what the big deal with the hand guards was. Maybe I need to see one in person to understand?

Very nice...congrats! :) I like that trigger guard.

I like the general profile, but if I had designed it, I would have filleted the edges more (e.g. rounded bevel) to assist in getting a gloved finger into the trigger area under duress. The ATRS lower's trigger guard is closer to where I would want to go than the NEA lower, but their fillet is on the wrong surface (i.e. lower surface).

IMHO it should almost be like a flared magwell, guiding the trigger finder to where it needs to go.

Still, it's a small thing really. I'm pickier than most.

We had a few guys ask us to put a "middle finger relief" into the trigger guard so that the middle finger does not make as much contact with the trigger guard.
To relieve the inner surface would make the guard quite thin as well as potentially a little bit sharp due to being thinned further.

This is the 1st I have heard that there might possibly be any desire to have relief on the inner surface of the trigger guard. Honestly I can not see it being of any value to do so, but am open as always to suggestions that will improve our product.
