Finally got this pair to a range.

Tikka 595 MasterSporter in .308 &
Krico 700 Match in 6.5x55.

I've owned the Tikka for a few years and recently acquired the Krico.
After finally sourcing a rail for the Tikka and having ATRS make a custom Picatinny rail for the Krico I pulled a scope from another gun and headed to the range.

Too bad you hardly see any Walnut and blued steel on guns anymore, Kind-of a shame really :(

Both guns shot under 0.5" with factory loads. I'll admit they shoot better than I did that day. I'm sure the Tikka could tighten up considerably.

You lucky SOB, that Krico is the Bee's Knees. If only it was 308... but still, awesome rifle.

Funny I was thinking that Tikka would be nice in 6.5mm something (260 REM, 6.5x47 or Creedmore), but then I am fairly enamored with 6.5's.

I am not usually a natural wood person but those are very nice rifles that I would be very proud to own.

I have the Tikka sporter in 6.5 x 55 and it is a wonderful rifle, accurate as well as good looking. They still make them but with a colored laminated stock that isn't my cup of tea.

I use to have the Tikka sporter in 22-250. Wow what a machine. Also had a Krico semi .22 Shot 1/4" at 100 yards regularly. I miss both rifles dearly.
