Clayne, do know that your scout will likely be much more accurate than that one. Let me know what the results are. My bet is on the scout. Not sure why but the 16 inch barrels cz put out on the 452's were deadly and with a broad range of ammo. They will in time be the ones everyone is after.

Nice rig, I need a mount like that. What did you use to mount it to the rails, does it clamp straight on?

Scope looks mounted too high. Is there a reason for mounting it so high?

the link referred to in this thread describes the high scope mount very well. The mount is a variable gantry mount which is adjustable from -5moa out to 100 moa. the op is stretching the legs on the 22lr and has been shooting accurately out to 500 yards. I suspect some longer shots are in the sights, and this mount is about the only solution to getting one there consistently.

It's a variable MOA scope mount. Scroll up for the link Clayne_b has put in.

Oh, that sounds exciting then.

Will you be adding some sort of cheekpiece to the stock in order to have a usable cheek weld?

Have yet to see any cz outshoot a scout. There is always a first

I'd put my full stock up against a scout, just have to find some one that owns a scout.
I have the 16 inch American and it is a fine shooting rifle. We were at the range yesterday with a few CZ and buddy has my varmint doing some very nice things at 100 yards, a distance I'd never shot at before yesterday. Quite a bit of fun hitting that little ram at 100 yards.FS
