Team Hoser Multigun match rules have been ammended
In particular and of interest, the Equipment Division rules.

Team Hoser multi gun divisions are now more, based upon the long gun(s). which should "fair up" the competition...

Div. rules for the Handgun only events remain as they are.

You guys didn't want to follow IMG rules for non-magnified optics? I'm not sure there's a huge need to here in Canada, given most ranges are 200y or less, just wondering why.

Some three gun events do put non mag. optics in the same div. as irons...

A non magnifying optic... is in our opinion *not* equivilant to irons.


It's easier to point and shoot with say... an Eotech than it is to aquire a target and shoot using traditional irons.

So... Yeah, for TH multigun, a non magnified optic such as an Eotech puts yout in the "optics div."

If you run with old fashioned irons... You get to shoot with the men. :)

As the same time, non-magnified optics really aren't the same as scopes...at least not at 250y so I found out at FNH :)

True, but c'mon... If we had a division for every possible type/combo of firearm/sighting system... We'd have... Well...

We'd have way more divisions and that would just make my head hurt.

As you mentioned re. ranges...
You're right... Seldom will we set up or even be able to set up shots at over 100 yards...
EESA and perhaps Galt are the only two places 'round here I know of where they have the distance.

We will be setting up at max. range in future at GRGC and with the brace of new self setting targets Team Hoser has invested in noone will have to wear out their boots walking down range to re set.
 
Yeah but everyone would have a better chance of winning their division!

You just don't want to buy that many trophies.
 
What is the deal with the holsters? I plan to use an open division rifle and certainly I would like to bring my open gun along with it .Hope no restriction on holsters.

It's pretty standard... must secure gun during vigorous movement and the trigger must be covered...

is this range heated ? if so or not, is the front of line where shooting will likely take place, warm or freezing ? just want to be prepared.
 
Just finished setting up match for tomorrow.
Range is toasty warm, you can shoot in a Tshirt no problem.
Will see everyone there tomorrow.
 
Thanks to Team Hoser for another fun match. It is amazing how you find out so quickly that you need more trigger time with the long-gun to be even a little competent. Looking forward to the u-tube videos.
