Where/who did you buy yours from? Did it come as rated (ie. very good condition).

I am looking to pick up an sks either in person from a store around Burlington Ontario, or online. Mainly looking to find an online store that sells as described; if its rated very good condition I would like it to arrive as such.

May want to call Al Simmons in Hamilton or H&H Tackle in Brantford. I believe they both have stock, not sure how good or or what they have. That is, if you choose to buy in person.

Back in the early days of the recent Russian invasion Ed at Moving Target had one of the best eyes out there for rating the ones he sold. Westrifle and Trade Ex are also very good at picking condition, but I think both are out currently. On here Weimajack is the king of hand picking, but is also out as far as I know. I've not been seeing the really nice non-refurbs the last year or so except at Westrifle.

Did you just buy one? I thought their website says they are out.

Went to lebaron today they had 3 laminate sks's. However I decided to pass because the person behind the counter seemed extremely uninterested in making the sale, he couldnt provide me a bore light, tell me if it had a chrome bore, or even anyway to allow me to view the condition of the rifling. I bought my first gun from there, its a nice place nothing against lebaron as a whole, I think I just got unlucky with the sales person.

Anyone know who has them in stock?

westrifle and wolverine are trustworthy, i have ordered from both and am happy with both. In your situation i would go with wolverine because it is closer. Welcome to the wonderful world of Sks's, "bet you cant just have one of them"

If you're ever up this way, Epp's has them for $179.00. Although I'm no expert, mine was in great condition (for a 58 year-old rifle...) and it looks like they have plenty in stock.
