... and you have to start conserving water, food, etc.

What are you going to use to clean your firearm?

how much shooting do you plan on doing ???

99.9% of the time your gun should be just sitting there , not in actual use .

and when you do use it , you don't need potable water to clean it .
just scoop some water out of a puddle , let it settle and your good to go .
 
Haha you realize you don't need water to clean corrosive ammunition. Keep in mind also that water falls from the sky, so the funnel you use to pour water down the chamber will probably help fill a 1L bottle.
 
I love this thread! What will you use to clean your gun when the proverbial end of civilization comes crashing down... brilliant! I wish I had started this one.

I ask the next SHTF question: What will you do to replace dishwasher liquid? Normal soap won't work, too foamy! Oh, the calamity.

My wife works just fine with normal dish soap so I don't know what's wrong with your "dishwasher".

^The preceeding post was in jest. I do the dishes here too.
