My local gunshop has a Lamber O/U with a selection of chokes. My internet search indicates these seem to be a more common international firearm then here in Canada. Just holding it in the store, it feels as good as a Citori. Does anyone have experience with them? The store is asking just under $1000 for it? Is that an average price?

Thanks!

Yes, I think they are quite popular in the UK. From most reviews I have read, they are pretty good guns. Depending on the model, I think $1000.00 is typical for Canadian pricing.

TradeX (logo at the top of page )usually has some very good examples of used Lanbers.usually in the $ 400.00 to $ 600.00 range so $ 1000.00 for a nib model would not be an unreasonable price.

Is that a new or used price? I just sold one for $450 Nice gun, quick to shoulder, feels good, balance ok, luv the wood but it is no browning. Only negative I can say is I was disapointed in the amount of recoil.

Lanber has a very good name, check out shotgun world, forum dedicated to Lanber. The new ones south of the border as I know no one in Canada that sells them are between $700-$1000 , then again try to get it here lol

The price sounds about right for a new one or a used model in excellent conditon. Lanbers aren't very common in North America but a frequent sight in Europe and the UK. I recall visiting a very prominent shooting school in the UK that used Lanbers as their teaching guns. They spoke very highly of them.

I had a Lanber and I sold it after a few years to buy a Browning Citori. The Lanber was a good solid gun and I am sorry I sold it. I am glad I bought the Citori but i should have kept the Lanber as well. Great gun

Hey folks,

I'm resurrecting this thread after doing some reading on Lanber shotguns. Quick question but does anyone know of a dealer or seen any in BC?

Cheers.

Ive seen one recently and it appeared to be a very nice gun, tried finding more info on them and there doesn;t seem to be much available in Canada.
