Anyone buy a Savage Model 12 from Cabelas?

Did anyone buy a Savage Model 12 HS Precision from Cabelas on their Boxing Day sale?

Just curious what kind of optics you guys are putting on them. Or on something similar like a Savage 12 LRPV?

Was thinking of going back to a Sightron 8-32x56 because my last one treated me well. But then I also was tempted to try out a Nikon Monarch 8-32x50. Mainly because I haven't tried a Nikon yet and are really impressed with their clarity. Is the NightForce 8-32x56 a better idea? Does anyone have any experience with them?

Now that you have used the Sightron, going back to the Nikon will be a dissapointment.

NF is about a tie for twice the price.

I would also cast my vote for the Sightron.

I just purchased a Sightron Big Sky 36 X 42mm from a CGNr on the EE.

I am very pleased with this scope, It is clear, bright & tracks very well.
