Where to buy 12ga buckshot in bulk

That sure is a good price on factory loads. I also agree with reloading buckshot and slugs. Collect those wheel weights!
 
Reloading is certainly cheaper, but I would hold off on my opinion that reloaded buckshot shoots/patterns any better or harder than factory buckshot.
If you are willing to put buffering in there and use copper plated buckshot just like Winchester Supreme or Federal Premium buckshot using Tru-Flite wads, well maybe.......

I'm not into reloading....yet.

Just want to find some reasonably priced bulk buckshot.

I also bought 125 rounds each of S&B 00 Buck and 1oz rifled slugs from SFRC. They're both advertised on the site as reduced recoil. Nothing on the boxes indicates that they are reduced recoil, but the SFRC guy on the phone claims they are and I trust I will find them so when I take them to the range.

One note: the S&B 00 Buck does not come in white translucent hulls like the slugs do. There are many pictures online of S&B 00 Buck in translucent hulls, but these specific ones from SFRC come in opaque red hulls. It's the only let down for me, as I think the translucent hulls are appealing.

Hi jlomein

Just bought some 00 which should arrive by friday. Besides being red, are there any other differences, as in what is their length? I'd heard the S&B's were an 8th longer than standard. If the trade off for being red is that they're actually 2 3/4" long, maybe tha'ts a good thing.
 
I starting casting and reloading for shotgun for the singular purpose of building up a cache for buckshot and slugs. At 1$ a round you might need to. It's incredible that people don't pick up their hulls. Now I'll never run out of OO or slug rounds :).
 
see if you can come across any T4 BUCKSHOT made by SG Clever Mirage . i get it in BC for 19.99 for 25 . it loks kinda funny in its white hulls, but neither my gun or the paper ( or pumpkins or old washing machines for that matter) notice any difference from federal or remington.
