Feral Hog Hunting in Texas

took the whole faimily to texas for a hog hunt. 9 year old, 12 year old daughters, wife and myself. We shot 5 hogs in total using a 50 cal ML. Seeing my little girls shoot hogs was great. They want to go back.................so do I.

Pig carnage is always a welcomed sight. I am a respectful hunter...well, until it comes to feral pigs. Then it's war
They're just so destructive to natural habitats and species that they belong on the other side of my 300

While its widespread down there, and relatively in-expensive, its still hit-and-miss. My buddy just spent two weeks down there and went hunting for hogs at one of those ranches. They were there - dawn till dusk - in tree stands, ground blinds, and stalking, but still got skunked. If I were you I'd do a lot of research before you go so you dont blow your cash.

Roughly how much is it to do this kinda hunt. I'd love to do a mixed hog hunt and dove shoot and some point

Where in Texas did you hunt. I'm hoping to visit a friend in Wichita Falls, Texas and do some hunting. You sound very happy with your experience so if it is within a couple hours drive I would give it a try.
