Optic advice for new ruger sr22

Bought a new sr22 looking for some advice on what i should use for optics. Red dot? scope? Mostly be using it for plinking up to 150 yrds. Going for a tactical type look, looking to spend about $300. also looking for a fake can to thread on.

Did try 4 optics on my SR-22 and the Sparc is the one i like the most... JP.

happy with my Bushnell trophy red T dot 1x32 , optically does great, like the looks as well

If you're actually going to plink at small targets beyond 50m you might be better off with a scope as the red dots tend to obscure the targets.

too late now but lever arms sells them (MBUS) $70 for rear and $60 for the front

If you want something out to 150 yards, you'll need a scope.

I personally have a Bushnell Trophy red dot on mine. Its ok, but not enough magnification for my purpose (only 1x ).

Now I'm shopping for a Vortex PST 1-4x scope, or possibly a 2.5-10x.

Or try looking at Millett scopes, I'm considering one of those as well.

1-4x would probably be the most functional choice for a .22 rig like this.
