Friend of mine bought a TT33 so we decided to put its through its paces.

All day we put around 500 rounds through it without a single hiccup.

Only thing I can say about these as sometimes the mags can be a pain to get out, especially the ones that don't have the loop hole at the bottom.

Also with the surplus ammo we were shooting every now and then we would get a round that would shoot WAY low and just hit the dirt in front of our targets.

Haven't had a single issue with mine since I bought it, and thats about 500 rounds later.

That is with an assortment of surplus, both brass, and steel case, as well as some S&B.

For almost nothing you can get one of these, and an SKS with thousands of rounds of surplus, and your set for the Zombie Apocalypse.

I've shot almost 2000 rds (surplus) through mine. Works perfectly...
No sign of mechanical problem and pretty accurate at 20 yards.
For the price, a GREAT bargain ! ;-)

interesting....

I have had issues with the czech (?) ammo sticking in chambers and sometimes popping primers (cardboard box-40rds-on strippers)

I assume this is what everyone is shooting?

I have heard its SMG only ammo but the ppsh is stuck in the closet

That is what I am shooting, no over 1,000 rounds so far without a single misfire like I said only issues is those random rounds that drop really early.

I ran some czech surplus over the chrony, not nearly as hot as some people say they are. Mine is 53 headstamp and a very consistant 1515fps-1530fps. I shot 8 rounds over the chrony and it all only differed by 15 fps. I was impressed. Some poeple say the bullet is flying out of there at 1700fps, not true with the czech stuff.

For those having trouble getting the magazine out, this might help. The trigger mech and mag release are conneccted to the same spring so once the chamber is clear, keep the trigger pulled all the way back, then press the mag release at the same time and the magazine *should* just fall out. Works for me...

Where did ya pick up the TT33, i got mine at Hnatuiks, too bad they dont have any ammo for it right now or i woulda had mine out to Musq Valley this weekend.
