Cant wait, been looking forward to the 2012 meet since july 2nd. Should I be keeping my eyes open for new location? I cover a lot of territory with my job, I could certainly keep a look out for possible candidates. Anything in particular I should look for that the new site must have, besides raging hordes of gophers, and cute goats?

We need to keep it at least 20 miles from a paved road. Society is not ready for us yet

campsite will probably be the same, but unmolested gopher towns are always welcome.

Closest airstrip would be??? Any clear flat areas to put down a cessna 180 on site.

Camping, shooting, flying some of my favorite things, but not necessarily in that order. How many spots are available? Ever max out of slots?

We max out slots every year for the most part

Cessna 180? No problem finding a place to set it down I think....as long as your insurance lets you land off airport. Plenty of fields or roads. Closest real airstrip is Gull Lake....

It is actually a 182......I need to watch the slang. It is a long drive from Ontario. If we bring the plane it will cut the commute down significantly. Now just a matter of figuring out if we would have enough room. I have wanted to shoot gophers for a long time, I may have just found the perfect excuse.
