I recently have an influx of cash coming in and I was looking on Sako's webpage for some info on a Sako m75 action for possible semi-custom wildcat and then I seen this....I WANT ONE NOW !!! To bad on Military and Law Enforcement.

Look at what CADEX Defence out of Quebec has to offer! I really like my PGW LRT-3 that uses the CADEX chassis very impressed!

Have you considered a PGW Coyote with folder? They may also fit in a CADEX Defence chassis if thats your preference. I will be getting a Coyote in the spring I have shot one with factory ammo it is very accurate and would be even better with good handloads. Check them out at http://www.pgwdti.com/

I would say Stoeger Canada would be the supplier for Sako in Canada. They are the importer of Sako to us.

My guess is you never see one in Canada till sometime in 2013

For my interest, who got the contract?

I thought Remington got one for the US Army. Some kind of Remington modular system in 300 Win Mag.

In the link posted by Calgary Shooting Center, it sounds like the trials haven't happened, yet.

Really got the impression from some where that everything (army, navy and air force) had their rifles. Marines were sticking with what they had, longer.
