SKS russian vs. chineese

Buy a Russian. Mod the hell out of it. Keep all original parts in closet. Enjoy the cool-aid.

Decide you like the looks of a stock one. Realize they are cheap, buy a second Russian. Leave it stock. Enjoy the vodka.

Decide that the Chinese rifles are kinda cool in their own right. Buy the Marstar deal (where I'm at right now, pending some extra cash...). Enjoy the green tea.

All this drinking has made me hungry. Time to find some Viet or Korean... oh the addiction.

I have a Type 56 and my buddy's got a Russian one.
Overall I'd say they're the same. Chinese seems to have more chrome lining.

I tacticooled mine but my buddy's is stock.
We both prefer the comfort of the adjustable stock and foregrip.

In the end it's a matter of choice. Don't let anyone tell you what you can or can't do with your gun.
