En-field Question

Like tiriaq said, there is not observable difference. The difference come towards the end of the barrels life. When the 2 groove starts to wear out it will do so quickly. I've been told in like 200 rounds. The 5 groove has a more gradual death like any normal barrel.

Another item that I've come across is that 2 grooves at hit and miss in terms of liking boat tail ammo (it will cause the bullets to tumble). So long as you stick with flat based stuff you will be fine.

What is better from an accuracy standpoint, the 2 groove, or the 5 groove en-field barrel??

Thanks

In my opinion, the amount of grooves is not the most important factor for accuracy.
But you asked, and I would say neither one, because my 6 groove LB is the sweetest shooting rifle around.
:D
