So I was tracking when my moms side of the family first came to canada and I stumbled across this article while I was researching normanby township. They settled on concession 18 lot 25 i believe in the 1850s. Ive been trying to find where this is so I can go visit our first homestead in the new world. So far ive had no luck.
I called my grandad and it turns out this guy was his cousin. He said he never talked much about it after the war either. Like most guys I suppose. My grandad just started talking to me about when he flew halifax's 39 missions over europe.
