whats a full bbl length ross M-10 rifle with the wood cut off it worth these days?
had a freind drop one off. seems ok, all there cept the lower wood has been cut, topwood and band are still on it actually. butplate has been cut off and rubber recoil pad added years ago
just wondered at value. bore is good, and im gona clean it up n give it a shot

The company collectors source has them listed around 200 if it's a 303. 280 Ross' are hard to come by and thus worth much more. Of course its condition also affetcs the price. I'm sure if you posted pictures people would tell you all about it

With full length barrel (30 1/2 I think, or 31 1/2, I'd have to go measure), top handguard and rear band, I'd say about $150 to $200 plus ship. The full barrel's important, but with the wood cut on the butt you'll need a full new stock and don't have the steel buttplate any more.

I assume all metal is present otherwise - IE rear sights, front sight with hood etc etc etc.

As is, with a decent bore, I'd agree with the $150 - $200 range.
If the butt hadn't been cut, the forend could have been stretched. Nosecaps are very difficult to find.
Only way to restore it now is to restock it.
Probably easiest to just enjoy it as is, and wait for a restorable stock to turn up.

I agree with the 2 posts re values.

Too bad about the stock, but it has lots and lots of company.
