I own one, and have been keeping track of them..

I have asked three people what they sold theirs for after their EE had sold.

The average is 400-450.

Sometimes you see them going for 600 bucks - but I don't think anyone is actually seeing the cash at those prices. Could be wrong, but from the people I've talked to, 400 to 450 seems normal. These have all been excellent condition rifles.

People will ask more, but you have to consider what they come with.
Useful things like mags and such, of course, will up the price. A tapco stock or poor optic options that don't hold zero are not exactly things I would consider paying more for.

If the regualr russian SKS's increase in price, I imagine the true SKS-D's will increase in value too. Again, I could be wrong.
 
No more value in an SKS-D than a normal SKS IMHO. Better things out there like 858's and real Russian SKS's. Steep premium for a chinese commercial novelty.
 
I agree with the 858's as being a better option.

But it boils down to supply and demand. The true SKS-D isn't common, and therefore people pay more for it.
