I got goodies for my mosin M91:) First is a finnish muzzle guide, made of wood with a metal insert to guide the cleaning rod while cleanig the bore, second is the spike bayonet with retaining collar, was stiff to put on at first.... The M91 is very long by itself but with the bayonet attached, holy molly! You can really bayonet your foe on the other side of the river while staying in the comfort of your hole:D

Actually, its the same lenght as the later bayonet found on the M91/30 except for the lock collar and M91/30 bayonet fit on the M91 rifle.
I bought the rifle in 1995 from Century,Montreal. At the time, they sell for $54.95 good -very good cond. I wish i had more money,i would buy 10 of them:( The old mosin is a very good shooter, fews years that i didnt shoot it but now that i have a good stock of ammo, i will put it in service again soon:)

Nice setup, ya just cant beat the old warhorses. I have an old finn capture that my older brother bought back in the 80's. She's taken plenty of moose and caribou and she's still going, but the bore is getting dark. If memory serves, he bought her in Quebec somewhere. I can remember sitting in school and thumbing thru firearm catalogs, I was 14 at the time, and the teacher telling me to get back to work. Aaahh, the good old days, thanks for the good memories boys and gals. Cheers.
