I was lucky enough to stumble across a BD/Stg 44 at a local dealer. Owner says they won't be bringing anymore into Canada so I snapped it up.

I think PRVI Partizan is the only manufacturer that still makes 8mm Kurz ammo.

I'm in Edmonton Alberta. My dealer has a contact in Winnipeg and I was able to locate Ammo Supply in Kingston, Ontario.... Still hoping for a closer sale though. This WW2 stuff has peaked my interest.

Well you said local dealer, then later you mention your from edmonton.

Milarm has had one hanging for a year or two, I make eye love to it every time im there.

Was hoping to be able to buy it late this year or next year if its still around.

Oh brother! now I'm kicking myself! I came across a few 100 round bags at a dealer in kitchener ( not a supporter here) about a month ago. saw the 7.92x33 on the bags and dismissed it. Looked familiar but couldn't place it. When I got home, it clicked.....KURZ! I think they were just trying to get rid of it. The price was something silly like $10/100. Granted it was just the brass but....
