I believe that it is the Communist Party membership ID, for those who were literally "above the law" (seen one once and it looked very similar).

Interestingly, it is more than likely something the NDP would put in place if they ever won a majority government! A special ID for their special "Comrades"!

top one is diploma for some kind of competition ,bottom left is passport and other one membership card for DOSAAF-semi volunteer sport club oriented towards sports useful to army-skydiving,shooting etc

Correct Diploma is actually indicated 1st place in competition of field stripping of AK-47

Cool pics guys. To many of us who grew up in the "west" all things communist Russian are a bit of a mystery {cold war and all}. For instance, I knew that in the cyrillic alphabet some letters are spelt backward from those that we use.......but I didn't know that you guys also read time upside down!? .......{nice pocket piece}
