Bucket lists

I'm an old guy and don't know how to post pics, sorry. If someone could help me out here I'd be happy to give you some pics. You're right it's all so much bulls$$t without pics, just have no idea how to do it, and I'm very computer challenged. Why Not? is a good buddy of mine and he knows how to do it I'll call him tomorrow and see if he can help me out. The rest of you include pics if you got 'em, the more the better.

Am I ever glad you found out how to post pics. Wonderful stories and pics and thanks for sharing.

Any pics of your trophy room?

That's a helluva list, hope you're a young man, it just may be doable.

PS I had to look up Auerhahn, you had me there.

it might be more of a wish list. without winning the lottery (and some current laws changing) all of it is not possible.

realistically; the BC stuff, the birds and the fish are very possible. and an african, european, and an asian hunt are within reason as well, just need to put a BMW or similar in the driveway first.

Ardent

Forget guns pack money... As much as a half-million dollars worth. I hope to take four of the five in my life, but I like Rhinos too much to shoot one (and I don't have $100,000+ for a White Rhino or $250,000-$400,000 for a Black Rhino, which is the dangerous one of the two). I have however had the pleasure of mingling with Black Rhino at a few yards. Politely mingling. A good free range Zambian Lion hunt is also $100,000 and climbing. I'm afraid I'll likely only make three of the five in my life if I'm lucky, and envy c-fbmi's timing, and business sense. Polar Bear is up there for me too, but also getting harder as time goes on.

Nowadays we are accepting the hippo as the fifth of the big five, he is much more dangerous and common than the rhino, either species. SA has forbidden dart hunting rhinos.

this is my new favorite thread. I'm truly jealous of folks like c-fbmi. I would love to have been on a few of your hunts. It seems you really appreciate quality rifles too.

My current list is:
Alaskan-Yukon moose in calling season
spot and stalk antelope with bow
book whitetail (almost made it)
220" mule deer (i will someday)
wild boar
grizz
6x6 bull elk
canoe hunt for moose

Any pics of your trophy room?
Only if someone else posts their's first, I have some of the mounts but not the room in the past 20 years.

We kind of have a trophy house. The joys of a small house. Trophies are kind of spread all over although we are about to begin some renos. Here's a few.
