No. I live and hunt the Comox valley but Scoring is not my thing not interest in it . It's not real a good thing for hunting . I belive. the Anties can use it against us .
 
That's stupid. They can score fish in a fishing tournment but scoring the game you got during hunting season is considered bad. We have a large wild game banquit get together every year. This supplies are range with its annual funds. Tones of prizes to be won. (not just for scoring either) There is even a Raffle for a new firearm. The anti hunters will never ban hunting so get over it and enjoy the hunting culture.

I hope I don't live long enough to see it . But I belive you are mistaken . I guess you think its ok to drive around with your trophy hanging out in plain sight for the public to see also . These things all work against hunting with the Anties . I will do my best to prolong hunting for the future and you make your own choice. But stupid it's not.

Glad you had a great visit at our club .It is a wounderful place and there are some great people out there keeping it that way and working hard on it .

I love going out there its so handy also has something for everyone .

If you think burying your head in the sand is going to prolong hunting for the future, your dead wrong. Also, if you think a bunch of hunters getting together at a local rifle range for a scoring night is bad for hunting, your a lost cause and the anti hunters have already won in your mind.

Glad you got a chance to get out and meet some of the local hunters and shooters Ted, I cant think of a better place to meet locals that share an interest in hunting :cool:

Hide your game and be ashamed of being a hunter? Jesus Christ...what a tactic. I see being ashamed and staying quiet really helped PETA get big on the global scale...oh wait...
 
Yea, I'm like the poster boy for the anti's. Hunting, dirt biking white middle aged man that enjoys tipping a beer or two on Fridays. I've tried being politically correct before, it's just not my thing. =]

I never said anything about driving around with a trophy for everyone to see. If you take a hunting course they tell you not to do that. There is nothing wrong with a group of hunters getting together to show off and celebrate what they got during the hunting season. It’s fun and you meet great people. Are last years Fish & Game party had 52 guests that were not hunters or firearm owners so it may even be a good way to get other people into hunting or at least support hunting.

Like I said its not my thing the measuring thing. The rest I enjoy and I have even donated meat . So don't add things that are not there. I have my opinions and make my choices . If I feel like expressing them I will .Thank you for yours. I just disagree with some .Like you disagree with me .I have no Problem with that .

Exactly. That is the way to see that hunting and the shooting sports have a future, introduce new people in a positive way and have fun doing it.
