12 g non-leathal and bear bangers and flares

Hey all,
want to see if anyone can help me here. I have searched and searched, and I know a couple other guys are doing the same.
SFRC has been sold out for a while and I've recieved no reply on the email side to when they will restock.
So my question is, anyone know a sponsor where I can get non-leathal 12g shotgun rounds and bearbangers and flares.
I am putting together a survival kit for backwoods camping ect, and have a J.I.C. comming in, and want to stock it with emergency flares, bearbangers and non leathal rounds ontop of slugs if I do need to put something down if the other options don't work. This ontop of all the other survival kit.
So if anyone can help, that would be awsome.

I would avoid the non lethal shotgun ammo. Grossly overprice and if it is worth shooting it is worth shooting with a buckshot or slug. If you are trying to scare away something, then the bangers and flares are effective....along with the fire you start with the flares!
 
non lethal = slug shot into the ground around said target.
Remember if you see something coming at you it fully intend's to EAT/HARM you.

lol true with the non lethal that if its worth shooting do it with buck shot. I was thinkiing more for something interesting, plus in a provincial park like algonquin I think they would frown on killing something, I was thinking correct me if I'm wrong, but a rubber bullet in the a$$ of a black bear should make it run.

I hear you with the flares as well, but most say they have a short lived burst and burn out by the time they hit the ground, compared to the flares at crappy tire that are more marine use.

Ill check wanstalls, but hopefully I'll find something. I sent another email to sfrc to ask when this ammo will be available again, hopefully get a response, so fare 0 for 4 :s
 
Swamped with emails due to 780 sale. Bear bangers, about a month, rubber slugs a week. Locking myself in a room and replying to emails tonight
 
guns n games in Stettler AB 403.742.0673 has 12ga flares in stock

as for non-lethal rounds, like morpheus says, if its worth shooting... shoot it dead,

don't be poking a bear in the belly thinking that's enough to discourage him from diner, either kick last nights berries out of him, or run like devil is chasing you, anything in between may well be considered suicide.

use the empty 12 gauge flare hulls( the long ones about 3 inches long that tapper down half way) knock the primer out with a nail and reprime with a shot gun 209 primer slide in a generic bear banger(the red ones that are as big as aa batteries ) and enjoy they fit so nice in that hull you swear it was ment to be

Interesting... I am not setup to load shotshells, but I like the idea.

Those 12g flares are stupid expensive from Bass Pro.

Also looking at the flares, you only have the red colour, are you going to bring in other colours for full signalling capability ex. everyone ok, medical emergency, not safe to land ect.
 
So far SFRC said he will be getting them in soon, within a month, Ive checked at local shops and non have them.
On the C****as canada site (cant mention non sponsors), i did find flares in 12g in stock and ordered 2 boxes.
I will check at the Canadian tire, as one person mentioned his store had them, but won't hold my breath on that, but I'll let you know what I find at crappy tire.
Hopefully chemist comes to my rescue and hooks me up on some much needed ammo ;)

Should also mention so I don't piss chemist off for not doing a sponsor order, I finaly found the mossberg JIC mariner, which no sponsor had, I was looking for on the sight, and noticed the flares, the only thing in 12g for outdoor survival needs, the rest was that stupid pen flare and banger crap, and figured since I was already making an order. So sorry chemist, but I will order the rest of my stuff from you for sure :rockOn:

As already said, for non leathal rounds just fire a slug into the ground. You won't get the chance to change from bangers to slugs in a situation where seconds count. Don't fool around with your life, get a 12ga with slugs. Don't worry about what the environmentalists and animal rights fools will think, because they don't give a #### about your life either way.
