Just curious where you guys are getting your lanyartds from for your calls... I would like a 4 call job but it is hard to even find one that wiLl hold one call... You guys have sources?

Cabelas. They had a multi one with clips made from paracord. So far I havent strangled myself with it and its held up well. It can hold several or just one, its easy to clip them on and off. Different lengths to.

My wife and I both have custom waterfowl and upland lanyards from Orion Lanyards. His custom prices match what you get in a store.

He even made me a matching game carrier. :D

I got mine from Ebay, it's a four calls lanyard but there's two loops for each call to secure them properly. There's also one loop with a snap hook for my Foxpro remote control. I paid $18 + $5 shipping

Four calls and a dog whistle:

My proprietary pattern: MaxJaydog :p

Upland lanyards are pretty simple, just a pheasant call and a dog whistle.

I just bought a cheap set up from cabelas the other day but would like to find a quality one like I have on my goose calls. That was a hand made heavy duty one I got at a gun show many years ago. So far I cannot find any nice ones to buy.

I have one similar to jaybirds, but found that I can really only put 3 on. The call on the shooting side always gets in the way.

Other choices includes heavy hauler which I think carries 4 or more calls and is interchangeable.

I used to use my Reese 4 call lanyard a lot a few years ago,
I haven’t been using it as much lately, I tend to just have a couple calls around my neck on those standard slip spring lanyards with whatever other calls I have on me stuffed in a pocket.

Why not just go buy some Paracord for $10 and make your own exactly how you want it?

There are tons of tutorials on Youtube showing a million ways to weave paracord, or you can just braid it.

You will have a bunch left over to make some knife lanyards, or keychains, or just to have handy.

Always a good thing to have around.

Yeah... I picked up some paracord but in the meantime I just wanted something cheap to use...

I use an army surplus whit winter camo suit over top of warm clothing and it has no pockets... that's why I need a lanyard.... plus I have four calls I want to bring with me....

And yes, paracord is very handy... I bought 500 feet.... that being said, arts and crafts aren't my thing......lol

Unfortunately I tried that in the past and ended up losing two calls. I am not much of a weaver or knot guy.:D

I make my own...................the one with the bands on it in the picture is homemade, made from leather bootlace. The other is a manufactured lanyard, made from paracord. I have made lots from that stuff too but I prefer leather bootlace when I can find it in long enough pieces or rolls. The paracord has a tendency to pull facial hair out where bootlace doesn't. In fact once the bootlace starts to age it gets very smooth and polished from rubbing on the skin. If you can find a piece of bootlace 22 feet long PM me and for a few thousand bucks I will whip one out for you......LOL!! :D My lanyards have 4 drops on them and when finished the calls will hang between the bottom of the rib cage and the top of the belly button on a person 5"10" to 6"0". If the paracord you have is the heavier stuff not that 1/8" thin crap then cut a piece 22 feet long, ship it to me and I will send you back a lanyard. If you like it you can send me $20, if not use it as a fish stringer........:p
