Its great to see kids involved in the shooting sports.
What mount and optic are those?
Oh, I didn't know there was a thumb hole stock for it. It looks good in that configuration.
While I used to own a Cooey Ranger that my Dad gave me that I started to shoot about 50 years ago, that now belongs to my son, I've only bought a BRNO #1, which I then sold to buy a BRNO #4, which I sold, which I then sold to purchase a CZ452 American, which was then sold to buy a Ruger 77/22, which was then sold after I got my sole remaining Rimfire; a .220 Long (aka .22 LR), Alex. Martin C.L.L.M. (a Long Lee Metford with a Charger Loading bridge retrofitted); it is the 9th from the top:
other than a .22 LR barrel on my switch barrel H&R rig (.22 Long Rifle, .45-70 Buffalo Classic, .50 muzzleloader & 12 bore 3" shotgun barrel).
I would, however, like to add a Marlin Model 39A with straight grip (if anyone has one for sale) or one of the new Chapparal / Winchester Model 1892 rifles in .22LR (that was supposed to be fed through the loading gate) to the stable, as well as a Martini-based sporting .22 Rook rifle.
I do wish in the meantime, however, that I could get one of those nice Marble-cake Circassian walnut stocks like the Coopers have, in the old Lee Speed High Velocity Sporting Rifle patterns, for her, however, but doubt there is anyone in Canada who could do it anymore, without waiting for 3-5 years.

THREE WILDCAT 500s
RAU ARMS CORP. WILDCAT 500, 22rf LR, twist-action single shot from El Dorado, KS, 1969-1970. Unusual design with wire buttstock with either wood or plastic inserts which LOOKED like real wood. The slide handles were also either wood or plastic. Its function was that you pulled it back after opening the action and it extracted the spent cartridge.
The twist-action Rau used on his rifles, was first used on the Quackenbush No. 7 little boys' rifle around the turn of the century. Like these, it too had a wire stock but without inserts like these.
PRECISION INDUSTRIES, ARMS DIVISION, OZARK, MO., WILDCAT 500, .22rf LR, division of Mountain Arms who bought out the Rau Arms Corp. in 1970-1978 after producing a total of 6,243 rifles.
All three brands had the same Wildcat name and caliber stamped on the side of them.
Below is the PRECISION stamping on the second rifle.
MOUNTAIN ARMS INC., OZARK, MO, WILDCAT 500, 22rf LR. did the final production run with their logo stamped on them, from 1975 to 1978 when the company folded. This specimen I obtained in its original box with manual.

Very unusual rifles and very scarce.

What exactly are the kids shooting? I saw similar compact rifles at a recent gunshow and im planning on getting one next time i come across them, but i dont even know what they are lol.

my new personal cooper. 22 lr, sketeton, grip, skeleton butt, inlaid swivel studs and a nice New Zealand blank. will put Talley gloss fixed rings.

That is a Boyds Tacticool stock with a custom stock extension from gregt at the sniper's hide forum. Shipped it out of Australia so a bit of a wait for itNeed to drill the stock 13/16" for the center pin and the rest uses the factory holes and hardware. Very easy to install. Top quality item!
