Hey guys..

with SAGE being pretty steep in the cost department, not to mention next to impossible to get out of the states at the moment.

And RockyMountain not sure if hes going to sell his Slim stock.

ive been looking at the AKM Sage style chassis.. i know its canadian made so it would be exportable to NZ ( big plus )

Marstar appears to be sold out, does anyone know where i could source one?

Put an ad in the EE. They come up fairly regular.

.

Private sales are a bit of an issue living in another country.

your banking system is stone age ( no offense ) so private transfers are not worth the hassle, and (FRAUD ALERT) ripped me off $600USD so i dont use them..

CC is really the only way i can purchase, so it needs to be a dealer unfortunately

What about EMT....they work great up here and only $1.50

Matty86suk might split this up as he was trying to sell just the stock awhile ago

I don't understand why the AKM is not still in production.
I had asked John at marstar a long time ago about the stock and it's future availlability. Now if memory serves me right, and it may not LOL , but I seem to remember being told that the company making them went under. If so, there must be a cnc program somewhere.
Personally I get asked if I can source or supply the AKM as often as I'm asked about Troy and Sage.
Lots of room in the M14 marketplace for the AKM chassis to see good sales.

Will we ever see it again? I hope so but only Johnone would be able to answer the above.
I posted a thread in the Marstar dealer forum on this topic as well.

Tried that.. lost $200 on 3x failed attempts to get money to BBB before he had CC.. my end was fine, it was the canadian end

1) The bank you're transferring to doesnt exist - reject
2) The bank does exists but no one knows what to do for an international transfer - reject
3) The customer you are trying to transfer money to doesnt exist - reject

There has been a problem getting the AKM stock in Canada for long time but they are available used in the EE as other posters have mentioned. Sage stocks can be be purchased from Del Sellins last I heard. The Blackfeather "RS" will be available in March directly from M14.ca.

Here is a recent video.

Will the UltiMAK M8 fit your proprietary op rod guide?

Blackfeather is so new that I can't say with certainty. I've looked at some photos in another thread and some minor inletting of the under rail may be required. (I have not even had time to add the M14 EBR Trigger Shoes I ordered! :D ) And...both the Gen2 CASM and the new MRD mount samples just came back from anodizing looking absolutely fantastic and the web site needs updating. I will purchase an Ultimak rail one day to test...

Interesting to watch this unfold, and happy to see Frank hop on board as a dealer/supporter of CGN. Will be great being able to source a Canadian chassis for client's builds. Keep up the good work Frank ;)

That red dot mount just like that is sick and I want 1!
Any idea what the finnaly wieght will be on this rig?
Also will it work for medium and normal contour barrels?
Any idea if you will be making a fat barrel acceptable stock?
P.S. That vid was great except for the guy that was talking/shooting on it. Around here he has got a life time ban FYI.
