44 Mag, especially after having had the privilege of meeting the man that was very instrumental in bringing it about.

Damn you Johnn Peterson! I covet thy 29 :(. I mean that in the nicest possible way.

My favorite is .45, either ACP or Colt.

Heaven forbid, but if we were only allowed one handgun, without any hesitation, the 4" 29 would be my choice. The reason I've kept this one, which is about the 5th, is it's the most accurate one I've had. Nothing special though as it's one of the later production efforts. I lucked into the grips at a gun show in Duncan years ago. They're S&W factory ivory and probably worth more than the gun because of that fact.

Earlier, later, either would suit me fine. A fine pistol regardless. And I know you're posting the second pic just to tease! The ivory is the icing on the cake. Keep posting, I could look at it all day.

Favorite for being cheap to shoot all day - .22LR
Favorite for the feeling of enjoyment and puts a smile on my face - .500 S&W Mag
Favorite for shooting frequently and enjoying - .38SPL / .357Mag
Favorite center fire for being cheap to shoot all day - 9x19

So many favorites...

Would've preferred an option in the poll for .38/357, since this is my revolver caliber/s of choice and these two go hand in hand for me. I voted .38 since 99% of my revolver shooting is with 38 spl+P loads.

I like 9mm, 40cal and 45acp in my semi-autos, just don't shoot them as much as the revolvers. Policing brass is a PITA.

My;) #2 favorite calibre, and in another favorite make of handgun. An older or earlier production Python:).

Years ago I shot a 'good' selection of 38 SPL and 357 Mag loads with both calibers. However now, I just use 357 Mag brass, for both light and heavy loads.

I will wait for a "large caliber" poll to come out

The poll said favorite, not least expensive...

All together now, say it with me..... 500 S&W Handcannon
Its all about the giggle effect:D

Picked other, says to state which one. 41 Magnum of course! Can be loaded to do anything a .357, .40, 10mm, .44 Special and 45 ACP can do ballistically and 95% of what a .44 Magnum can do.

Luckily we don't have to shoot just one caliber so I can still enjoy all those others as well!
