Another Alum M14 stock

Finally, an aluminum chassis for the M-14 that doesn't look like a POS, over-railed abortion.

That is truly ###y.

Believe it or not this was an M1 not an M14:

Looks like he changed it to mag feed and a different barrel ......It has Garand trigger guard and gas system and the OP said M1....my bet is that its a M1...Damm I type too slow again...lol

The stock in the OP looks really nice.
Removable rails: check
Seemingly comfortable grip/stock connection: check
Smooth underside up front: check
Slender profile: check

Wish I had the skills to make something like that.

You guys remember the Cheytac is the movie shooter? At the end of the movie when Wahlberg picks up the rifle and loads a round to prove that it wasn't his rifle that killed the priest and then swings it on Danny Glover? Well the real rifle was far too heavy for Mark to pick up and aim steadily so the had GV machine up an exact replica out of aluminum which is the rifle you see in that shot. Aluminum barrel and action. Only the bolt and stock were off of one of the originals we had.
You should get him to post some of his other cool creations!

So basically the guy took an M1 Garand, put it in a modern stock and added a magazine. Why wouldn't you just use an m305

Dinotard is confused:
