My factory 10 shot seems to droop on the front end causing lots of jams
last time out it was 5 of 10 that jamed.If i hold my finger on it will work. the
butler creeks that i have seem to work fine.

I have the same problem with mine. One mag is floating when inserted in the gun and will fail 1 out of 2 shots. The other mag will stick either up or down on the front of the mag. While stuck up on the front end it functions flawless but will fail to feed if stuck down.

I was wondering if there was a feed ramp angle adjustment for the factory mags?
 
Sometime the mag plunger in your trigger group may stick back in the trigger housing due to the rifle being "new".
When it does hang up, your mags may not be aligned securely in the mag well to get a good feed of ammo when cycling.
I'd check that area for sure......;)
 
x2 for the mag plunger; when I stripped my new 10/22 there was a piece of sprue still attached to the plunger, it was a 10 second "fix" for me, hopefully the same for you?
 
THanx wham-o and pete. looked at a buddies today and the plunger is out as far now to get off the computer and go work on it.:D
 
Yep, plunger problem here as well. It appears to be about 1mm short and lets the mags slide back out and down of the front. Not sure yet how to adjust it to come out that bit farther. It looks like it is restricted from coming out further by the magazine latch.

Just a final update on this thread. I had to file approximately 1mm off the magazine latch where it contacts the trigger housing. Lock up on the magazines are still slightly loose but the front of the mag can not fall out of its guide and therefore eliminating the feed issue.
