Aurora Level I IPSC

Nice vid Pat... that a GoPro you were using?

Depending on your battery capacity I generally leave mine on, good for almost 3 hours. But I'm so use to wearing mine turning it on and off is now part of my routing.

With my new schedule at work I may not be able to attend as many matches this year :(... and yet there has been so many in late 2011 and early 2012.

Yeah, now that I'm learning to crop and edit I may just leave it on, It's a ContourRoam and the battery should be good for 4 or 5 hours

Nice. Now what we need is a second video mounted some place to film ones own movement and sync the two videos together. I'm tempted to buy another GoPro just for that.

Sony Vegas Pro is good one. Windows Movie Maker is a nice one for beginners.

Those were some pretty good stages for an indoor course.
For some reason on COF 3 I just couldn't seem to land a few of the shots on the metal plates....couldn't see the last one at the back. Managed to place 2 good hits on that 3 second exposure though. Can't wait to shoot their next few

Fwiw that gun and load is:
Kimber Custom II with sort of a trigger job, a Dawson fiber optic front sight, and Techwell mag well. Other than that it's stock so not an overly expensive gun for Classic Division.
The ammo was Winchester white box (bulk pack from leBarons) and factors about 190pf out of that gun.

I was so pissed at myself for missing that 4th plate! A few tricks, but it was a lot of fun.

what happened in stage 1?
It's funny, if it were IDPA and we were running a scenario (protect the baby) I would've be holding that thing and going as prescribed....when I heard that you simply had to be 'touching' it, down the shirt it went and I was rocking the baby bump for the stage. Love/Hate relationship with the gameing element of IPSC

Stages like that are generally a bad idea for that very reason, if it makes no practical sense to carry something through a stage, IPSC shooters will see away around doing it.

Fwiw I shot (and most of the guys on my squad did too) holding the ball, shot the right bank and then the left bank string hand only and then ran to the last position, put the ball down controlling it with a foot, reloaded and shot the last four targets freestyle and did it in 11 seconds
