Is there a such thing?? I notice that SIG and Glock have conversion kit.

How about M&P? I own .40cal, and am wondering where to get conversion kit to 9mil or .22?

None that I know of for .22lr. But as you might already know, the M&P22 internals are nothing like the real M&P's. It just looks like one.

To convert to 9mm you'll need a 9mm barrel and magazines (and probably a recoil spring and guide assembly). At this point I'm not aware of any 22 conversion kits. Actually though you'd be better off getting a reloading set up and shooting your 40 as a 40. Nothing increases the volume that you shoot like shooting reloads.

The 9mm conversion only requires an aftermarket barrel from Storm Lake [and perhaps others ] and 9mm magazines. There is no difference between the 9mm and 40 recoil spring and guide [although a spare isn't a bad idea...].

I'm not sure of the price difference between the 9mm and the 40, but you can probably save the cost of the new barrel pretty quickly if you do much shooting.

I picked up a factory S&W barrel and mags and have about 5-6K rounds through one of my .40's in the config with no issues...

On the same note though, you save more reloading .40 than you do shooting 9!

They ship to Canada all the time, I've gotten dozens of mags thru them - I think the M&P mags, 9 or 40, were $33 each. The barrel I picked up in Michigan so I have no idea if they'll ship that.

That's all you need. If you look at the factory parts list for 9 & 40 you'll see that the P/N for extractor/ejector/recoil spring assembly are all the same...

The other thing that I hate with the website is they can't tell you how much is the shipping cost until they shipped it to you. What if I think the shipping cost is too high, and I would like to change my mind??

Which shipping option did you use? It says on the website if you use UPS Canada, there is a brokerage fee that I need to pay. Should I use parcel post express to avoid the brokerage fee??

Always ship USPS - don't use a courier or you'll get raped for brokerage fees...

USPS? You mean United States Postal Services?

How much did you pay for the shipping, if you don't mind telling me what did you order? That way I will have an idea roughly how much it will cost me.

I am going to get Magpul MS2, fake suppressor, and Magpul vertical grip from them.

Will they calculate HST as well?

Yes... look twice when selecting your shipping option! I've been raped twice now, 50% of order was shipping. USPS is very reasonable for small items, but it's not obvious from their options list.

Shipping has been anywhere from $6-22 depending on the total weight and cost of the items ordered...

I just received an M&P DCAEK kit from Brownells. It was sent through International First Class Mail and cost $5.58 and was at my door in 10 days. I selected the Priority Post one on their website. No extra duty or anything else was added on.

I picked up a complete .40cal top end with night sights used for $100. from a guy in the US. Deals are around if you seek them out. I placed an ad on the M&P Forum.

Take Care

The priority post doesn't have tracking capability. The express post has tracking capability.
