I have these bullets posted in the Exchange, any ideas as to the maker is?

Speer makes TNT rifle bullets. They don't have a listing for 92 gr but do for 90 gr hollow point. Part No 1445.

They are a mystery but probably privately made. How consistent are they to 92 grains? and are they consistent in diameter?
Since the color is a little off copper, are they possibly a Corbin product made out of .22 lr brass.
I looked at your EE ad but they were too much for being an unknown. Would make a great coyote round. Has anyone tested them?
Did McCracken ever make something like this? He did make 6mm bullets in 70 - 83 - and 90 weights.
I would volunteer to test some for you . . .

I think horseman2 got it. They look like home made Swaged bullets, made out of wire lead and a jacket swaged from an old brass case. Check out the two Corbin brothers sites with tooling for this.

Pretty sure if they were swaged from 22 casings you would see the firing pin strike on the base of the bullet. Hard to tell looking at the pic on my phone but I can't pickout a defect in the bullets.

Jacket would be very thin if 22 casings were stretched to accomodate a 6.5mm bullet wouldn't it?

I think some people also buy tubing or some other raw type of copper to Swage the jackets if they are not recycling cases.

They are not made from 22lr cases. You would see fireing pin marks and the manufacture stamp of the 22lr case.

They look like they are high quality bullets.

these bullets are magnetic, and they do look like high quality , there was some McCracken .224 bullets in the lot I purchased.

If they are magnetic, chances are they are Norma cupronickel jacketed bullets. I think Norma used to load a 92 HP in their 6.5 X 68, if memory serves correctly.
