best optics for ar15 for CQC and up to 200 yards???

Um... At 200? Just use irons... At 100 I've managed to hit skeet targets fairly accurately... At 200, I'm still at a 7-9" round.... Still working on that one tho, apparently running a 300 yard zero allows for fairly consistent shooting up to 300 yards with very little hold over...

Burris ar-332 prism sight!!! Its a 3x I got if on my rfb and love it

+1 for the burris, however I have the Burris QD mount for the 332 and I didn't quite like the lever design. Wish i sprung for an ARMS or American Defence quick detach for carry handle mounted scopes.

Vortex SPARC, I don't own one but it seems to be a perfect choice to meet your demands.
I believe it comes with the mount and the x2 magnifier too.

I got a micro H1, but the SPARC was my 2nd choice, a better deal but a an aimpoint is an aimpoint...

Ok, I think ill start with irons just to see, and if I want to shoot to 200, then I'll buy a scope ;)

My issue is I do most shooting with a 300 win mag and this costs me alot.
Would like a cheaper option. Thats why I might shoot 223 a bit.

Thx for advice.

The OP said he wants to shoot out to 200 yards... How is he supposed see anything with just a red dot sight? IMO that is not the right choice here, you will need some magnification.

Again, that depends on what level of accuracy(and skill) the OP has and is looking to achieve. Hits at 200 with a reddot is very doable.
