Lengthwise yes, but that thing is bulky as hell.
I realize he was referring to the length, but the first thing that popped in to my mind was "Holy #### thats huge!", and only a second later he calls it compact.
Just found it funny.
Seems like a hell of a scope though. Too bad I will never afford such toys.

No doubt, its a bit bulky overall, but so are all the other high magnification high end optics. Its not really an issue as this is for long range, not CQB. I agree that using the term "compact" when standing behind something that size seems a bit of a misnomer.
