From the limited technical info I can find on-line re the specs of the Zombie specials, they appear in 9mm to be quite similar to the Critical Defense 9mm load. Do you know if it is in fact the same bullet design and similar velocity as the Critical defense load offering?

Yep and before any clown jumps in and proclaims how stupid people are for buying this ammo, go price out factory vmax and critical defense ammo and compare it to the zombie max...

The only reason why i bought 1 box of every caliber is because of the novelty. I plan on making a zombie defense display kit that has a similar setup as the public fire extinguisher cases.

That's why I buy the Z-max. It is a couple bucks cheaper. As for the .223, correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the z-max compares to the old standard brown box 55gr v-max? It also has cannelures on the bullet, which probably doesnt make much of a difference. The new superperformance v-max is a 53gr with no cannelures.
