I recently ordered my .50 DE and am looking to start reloading right away. I have already picked up a few hundred brass but I can't seem to find a place to get the projectiles. I would be willing to purchase them online if you guys know of a trustworthy site that ships to Ontario but I truthfully prefer to see people in person. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

give Henry at Budget Shooter Supply a call. The link is at the top of the page. He can order them i'm sure.

Just checked his site, He has Berry 350gr 50cal for $260 per 1000

In a gas-operated gun, cast will lead-plate the gas piston / cylinder and lock things up - also lead-plate and reduce the capacity of the gas port. Jacketed only.

Nope your wrong.

I have an M1 Carbine that's been converted to 45 Win Mag and all I use in it are cast boolit's made from wheel weight's and tumbled in Lee tumble lube.

Nope, I'm right. I have personally locked up a Desert Eagle and an HK P7M13, because I just had to find out for myself (in the face of sound advice to not use lead).

If some other guns - you mentioned a converted M1 - are more forgiving, then that is a matter of luck. As a good general rule, lead and gas operation do not mix.

To each our own.
Are you sure about the Milspec quality your using? :p
