it looks like the rem sps aac-sd has a tighter chamber then the rem 700p

Those make the oversize chambers. Reamer that have been sharpened a few times cut the tighter chambers.

I just checked the same AAC-SD rifle for another guy and was surprised how nice and tight the chamber was also. The bolt closed just right on the GO gauge and lug contact was good. Noticed no more chamfer on the firing pin hole. Looks like Remington QC is on the upswing again.
