sound off if you have an NEA ar on the way

Mine is not quite as fancy as the other one in this thread, but here she is:

(Missing but enroute: Magpul ASAP, RVG, RSA, and most importantly NEA 7.5 PDW :) )

This is my Koolaid rifle. ;) Big thanks to NEA and SFRC.

Do you mean enhanced? And if so, when did they release them? Last time I spoke with NEA, they said Spring at the earliest.

No, not the enhanced check their website to see the advanced.
Some minor differences between the standard DMR and the advanced, A2 stock ergo grip and the crusader brake.

Actually, the Advanced isn't even commercially available in Canada yet. Blueline didn't notice that it wasn't on our dealer list when they took your order, but Ryan convinced us to knit one for you. ;) So you'll have the first in Canada. They have only gone overseas so far.

And what if I want a 10.5 Advanced? Can I have one too?

Also what kind of accuracy difference does the 7.5 to the 10.5 have?
I like the look of the shorter gun, wanting it for 3 gun, so not sure it matters much though.

We have no 10.5 Advanced. The Advanced DMR has a full stock and brake vs carbine stock and flash suppressor.

I really have no idea what the difference in anything is, I just want something basic that feels good to handle and works.
I'm not even sure what DMR is. Nor do I know what make a full stock compared to carbine. Looks almost the same as me.

I assume the brake is a brake and the flash suppressor just hides the flash.
But does it really benefit from a brake?

So the Advance is only on a 16"?
What length should I be looking at for 3 gun?

No, the 'Advanced' is only on our 18" mid length gun. It's our New Zealand compliant rifle, it's a special case to meet their needs. Their laws are one step shy of California compliant. We're just offering it here once our other commitments are filled on the model.

All other guns are the same aside from barrel length and rail length.

As for the length to meet your needs for 3 gun, I suggest the 14.5" pr 18" standard. Many in the Us are swearing by 18" these days, but I believe they're pushing a lot more range than we are up here for the most part.

maybe someone at SFRC or NEA can answer this, I do want the spex stock, but I am under the assumption there is no real ETA on it... so I ordered my 7.5 pdw with the standard one, is it simple enough to add one on in the future? or is there an ETA on them?
cheers

I don't know what the ETA is on the PDW stock nor do I know what it will officially be called but it can be added after the fact to any existing AR lower receiver.

what comp/fh will be on the pdw. knowing this will help me decide whether to biy a battlecomp or not
