Anyone have one?

Open to suggestions and opinions still as well as what type of mount to use. I hear the quick release are good to enable cleaning.

Also, interested in a place to purchase the scope and mount.

thanks for your opinions

Did you know that the Bushnell Elite 1.25-8x32 (30mm tube) is on sale at LeBaron for $370... Down from $699...

I have one on my RFB & am putting one on my Tavor.

Cheers
Jay

Can't say I did but will check it out tomorrow....one is close to my office

Do you believe its a better scope?

Im using a burris ar 332 on my su16. 3x power red dot. Its $300-400 online. Does the job i want from it. I saw it recommended by others on this site and it seems to be what it read it to be.

I like warne maxima lever rings, but if I had the money I would of went with a one piece that occupies a large section of the rail. Probably be more secure on the 'composite' receiver.

Got the 2-7 Redfield with the accurange reticale and it is really nice for this varmit rig shooting stuff on the move ;)

Satain, where do you get that mag pouch thing on the stock? It looks useful on a non-restricted :).
Now thatz a realy good question. As I have had it for year's. I think I might have got it at a gun show. I do think that opsgear would have it or most likely another local vendor like One Shot Tactical or Dave's Surplus & Tactical.

The Nikon M223 scopes aren't available in Canada. Leupold has the VX-R series scope in a 1.25x4x20 with 30mm tube and a choice of 3 different firedot reticles. they are a little over 600 bucks. There is also the same scope, but with a different reticle for Pig hunting, it's called 1.25x4x20HOG. The reticle it uses is called the "Pig Plex". Apparently they are also available with the firedot reticle, and without. The price with regular "Pig Plex reticle is a bit over 300 bucks. These scopes are 9.5" long, and weigh a mere 11.5oz. I checked one out at Wholesale Sports in Calgary...they are light!

"The Nikon M223 scopes aren't available in Canada" are you kidding me lol it took me forever to find one i like and in my price range.
it i go to buffalo, can i bring one back across the border

I posted the same question in the Optics forum and got a dismal response, guess I should have posted it in here. I wanted a Minox 2-10x40 but was a little worried about the size of it so I ordered a Redfield 3-9x40 AR from Cabelas for $169. If it's too big I will put the Redfield on a shelf and look at the Minox 1.5-8x32.
