Split the difference and get a .40!
.45 hands down, I don't know how anyone who has shot both can dissagree
Wow, these pics are awesome. You take pics for a living?
Not yetAnd thanks!
As a fairly keen hobby photographer of around 20 years worth I gotta say that you sure have a good eye for the lighting. It's especially hard to do a nice job with dark subjects such as black guns on an all white background.
Oh, I know that with today's digital stuff it's a lot easier. But if the information isn't in the pixels you can still only do so much with the adjustments. You seem to be getting really nice results so I suspect that you're hitting the right initial exposure pretty darn close.
You've also got a nice eye for the flash setup. I'm not seeing any sign of hotspots.
What? .... The guns?.... Oh sure, they're nice too....![]()
For the purist, the .40 is a bastardized cartridge.

How does the grip on the 97 feel? Is it huge?
But that big ol' .45 hole in paper looks so good. When mags are limited to 10 rounds .45 takes the edge since it packs more power in the mag, but full capacity 9mm let's say 18 rounds has it's own advantages. For us "not-allowed-to-carry-law-abidient-canadians" this argument is only theoretical anyways. For punching holes in the target 9mm is more bang for your buck![]()
