Hi guys just wondering what you would pay for an r100. I have an opportunity
To get one barely used but I don't know what they go for. The one I'm looking
at is under 500.

The 1911? Seen one, handled it but not shot it. Wasn't impressed I'm afraid. I'd pass altogether. Or at least I'd pay no more for it than for a used Norinco.

Kp, there ain't that many gun shops around here. Phone around yourself! International in Surrey, Reliable, Lever and Italian in Vancouver, Wanstalls in Maple Ridge, Blueline in PoCo, Wholesale in Langley and Chilliwack Dart and Tackle far as I know. Online with no real store is Canada Ammo.

Outside of that there's all those links at the top of the page.

In Edmonton Cabelas sells them for 599.99. Regent website says they retail around $500, USD I assume. There is a stainless model listed on the website, R200S, it retails around $600 the site says and the compact R350CR is around $550 new.

I would buy a SAM 1911 brand new $399 before I bought one of those, checked them out at whole sale sports, like BC rider says they aren't bad but not great.

Its entry level for sure, but very upgradable and tuneable like any 1911. Sometimes I make up words when the correctable ones don't exist lol.

I would try one if the price was more reasonable, over 500 bucks any where around me, thats why the SAM is so appealing. 399 until Feb 1.
