Is there a way to tell if a pistol has been tuned by Armco? Aside from it working much better?

I bought a NZ85B from the EE, and the seller claimed it had been tuned. It seems to work well, but tonight when stripping it I see no signs that it has had any work done internally. Does he mark it somehow? Not that it really matters, as I am happy with it, mostly just curious.\

thanks.

ask for a receipt.

for check with Armco by providing them the serial number, I'm sure they keep a log of all work that comes in.

How's the trigger, if it's rough it probably wasn't worked, if it's smooth and clean then it has. If the single action works like a light switch, it definitely has. Try and find one you know hasn't been worked and compare the trigger - also is the feed ramp glossy and shiney (mirror bright), if yes, it's been worked.

If Armco gets a Norinco that's good to go out of the box they don't tune it.....they still sell it as tuned but it's more "inspected" and tuned if needed!
Some Norinco's are good to go out of the box.....what you get buying from Armco is more of a no lemon guarantee as they have inspected and tuned if necessary for function.

You will notice that some internals have been polished like the feed ramp and extractor. Mine also came with a workbench scratch:(
