I just purchased a Bushnell Trophy XLT 6-18 x 40 Multi-X for $100.00 Reg. $239.99. It's for my Rem 700 .223 coyote rig. Is this scope any good for coyote hunting?? I kind of purchased it on a whim. I know it doesn't have a Zeiss or Swarovski lens but I think it will fair alright in the bush.

They had a whole bunch of scopes like the banners, dask & dawn, and another one I can't remember on clearance since they weren't selling.I think that scope is an excellent scope for the money......but for $100, its a wicked deal. I would have bought several at that price.

I have a trophy XLT on my muzzloader, I like it. Good glass for the price, and the price you paid is certainly a bargain. Good score. I have had a couple Trophys over the years and all have served me well, Not the quality of bushnells higher end stuff, but a decent hunting optic in my experience.
I bought a 3-9 x 40 Trophy XLT from Cabela's Boxing day sale for $120 for a Parker Hale .308 I have. I haven't mounted it yet, but it seems real good out to the 200 yard tree line across from my house. It's not quite the same as the new Bushnell Elite I just bought for my Tikka, but for the price it will make a great combo for my son when he's ready for it. For the price you paid I don't think you can beat it. And if you do decide to invest in a higher quality scope at some point you're only into it for a $100. You did well.
so i went back to my local walmart here in bc to grab another one, figured at that price one of my friends would want it and they wouldnt do the clearance price again. apparently the manager says price matching isnt done from province to province and there only on sale in ontario?!?! i used this thread on my phone to get the clearance the first time and the young kid on the counter did it. he needed a managers overide but i still got the deal. i didnt complain as i already bought one but im going to take my reciept to the walmart in another town 20 minutes away and try a price match there.
