Need some help making a decision

So I want to buy a Kimber and I'm really stuck between two models.

here they are:

Kimber Custom II 45 ACP

or

Kimber Pro Carry II 45 ACP

Not sure ..... Any advise would help.

I really don't know if the problem still exists but the Pro-carry models did have barrel rusting issues in the last year or two. I, personally, saw a BNIB one with obvious rust at the crown. YMMV

I dont like how the barrel is sticking out on the kimber pro carry. For that reason Id vote for the fullsize model.

OR

You can get a SIG 1911 carry that has a 4.25in barrel that fits flush!

The pro cary is a fun little gun. Truthfully, I think you can get more bang for your buck then either of those kimbers. I had a custom II and it was fine and I have shot a pro cary and it was fun and different. I would search the EE, 1911s dont wear out or die really and most of the guns on the ee are only a few years (if that) old because especially with 1911s everyone wants to try a lot of them.
