Since the Nemesis is a 1 in 10 twist, today bought 2 boxes of 208 Amax with that incredible BC of 648, got 2 pounds of R-17, i do have on hand some Benchmark and some H-4350, did some interresting reading how the 308 can push that big pill between 2550 and 2600 fps and is very good at bucking the wind, the time for experiment has begun... JP.

please post your findings here. I'm still playing with the bullet selection for my trg-22, but would like to give the amax a try. I realize it might be marginal in a 11" twist, but would like to try it anyways.
The guys over on SH have noted that the 208 flies decently out of a 12 spin in cases... the 11 should work out okay. I had them work well out of a 10 spin, but not out of a 12 spin personally. I bet that the $45 to try em will be well worth a shot in the TRG. Just use a RE15 load in trials.
I was shooting some 208's with RL-17 this weekend and the various loads were giving me 2550fps at the low end, up to 2650 at the high end. The hot loads were just that, flattened primers and noticeable primer cratering, but they were giving up some good groups so will likely keep them in the bag for those long range and heavy wind days.

what barrel length are we talking here guys? 26"? 24"? I would like to know what can I get with 18" or 20"...

i have had good luck with vv550 and rl17 with the 210s and 208,using a 1 in 10 and also a 1 in 10 twist.
I'm shooting the 208's out of my 24" Coyote. Using 47.8 gr of Rl-17 and seating to OAL of 2.960.
The recoil is becoming noticeable at this point but it's not something I would have any problems with for 20-30 rounds. As I said, it's something I would save for when I need that little bit extra speed in windy conditions. I have a node at 45.8 gr/ 2550 fps that shoots just as accurately, but is easier on the primers and I could shoot that one all day.

Wow almost 48 gr eh?I wonder what primer pocket life will be like at those speeds.What kind of groups are you getting out of the coyote Bob should never have given up?
All my load testing is done at 200m and I don't consider that I'm getting good groups until they are below half MOA. Both the nodes I've mentioned achieve that, in fact I used the lower speed node (2550) during the last V-Bulls match in Kamloops and had no problems out to 500m.
