Sako 75 versus Sako 85

That's true. I like to get a good bang for my buck, so if I'm spending $1500+ on a factory rifle, it's gonna have a good stock, barrel, and trigger right from the get-go. Kimber Montana is a good compromise. I'm looking forward to the new Forbes rifle, as well. If I have to replace parts right out the gate, I usually look for a cheaper rifle (or a used one), where I'm only paying the price of a good action. Ruger Hawkeye is a good example. Pay $600 for the rifle, another $500 for a McMillan, and you're still only sitting at $1100 for a great setup. Heck, you could even throw a premium barrel and trigger on there and still be sitting at that $1800 mark.
